Q. How does Contract Hire or Leasing contracts work?
A. Infomation about various vehicle funding methods can be found on the finance options page.

Q. How good are your Contract Hire special offers?
A. We work with all the major funders in order to bring you the best possible leasing deals for both business car fleets and personal leasing customers.

Q. Do you have other leasing special offers or is it just Contract Hire deals?

Q. Can I terminate the contract early?
A. Yes. You may terminate the contract at any time before the due date but this may incur penalties. Whilst we endeavour to keep any costs to a minimum, the industry norm is 50% of outstanding rentals. However, this is only a guide, so please get in touch to discuss your options.

Q. Who is responsible for insuring the vehicle?
A. As the actual user of the vehicle, you take full responsibility for ensuring that fully comprehensive insurance is in place for the entire duration of the contract.

Q. Can I change my vehicle before the contract ends?
A. We can organise this for you, however the original contract must be terminated and therefore some additional charges may apply.

Q. Can I change the contract terms and mileage?
A. This can be possible but it depends on the type of contract you currently have. To discuss your options please just give us a call on 01543 431 080.

Q. Can I buy the vehicle at the end of the contract?
A. Yes. There are no restrictions for personal contract hire, however business users need to buy the vehicle through a third party, at the current market value.

Q. What happens if I exceed my contract mileage?
A. Before signing a contract you will be advised of any charges that will be applied should you exceed the agreed mileage parameters. An invoice for any additional fees due will be raised at the end of the contract term.

Q. Can the car be supplied by my local dealer?
A. We can work with any UK dealer, provided they can supply the vehicle you need at the best possible price.

Q. Where do I take the vehicle for servicing?
A. You can select a garage which is most convenient for you personally. However, please remember that Contract Hire or Personal Lease vehicles must be serviced by one of the manufacturer's main dealer outlets.

Q. What happens if the vehicle breaks down?
A. If you have opted to take out a maintenance contract, you will receive full roadside assistance. Alternatively, where no maintenance contract exists, breakdowns are normally covered by the manufacturer's warranty. A Driver Pack is provided with each new vehicle supplied, explaining what to do in the case of a breakdown.

Q. What condition does the vehicle need to be returned in?

Q. What warranty is available for used vehicles?
A. Every used car supplied by Total Fleet Services comes with the balance of the manufacturer's warranty.
