FAQ's

Q: Why should I use Total Fleet Services?
A: Established in 1994 primarily to supply vehicle funding to Business' and Private Individuals via Contract Hire / Leasing, Total Fleet have studied the "Dual Control Vehicle" market and realise there is a market for a more "Complete" package that is not currently offered by our competitors.

Q: You may initially not appear to be the cheapest in the market, why is that?
A: Service levels from the initial enquiry through to delivery and then onwards through the whole contract term is a very high priority that has helped us grow since 1994 and we intend to bring that to this market. Service is what ensures a high level of "customer retention"

Q: Can I have any car?
A: We mainly deal with Four makes of car, and certain models within their range: This allows us to get the best discounts from the manufacturer. We look at "sexy cars" that young people will want to learn to drive in such as the Mini and the Fiat 500, and also the popular brands such as the Ford Fiesta and Vauxhall Corsa.
If you require a model that is not listed on the website, we are able to provide this too. Please call us for more details or send the Car Hire Quote form.

Q: What happens once I choose a car?
A: The process is as follows: We need to get the credit in place for you (via a Finance Proposal Form) Once credit has been agreed we send you a "Customer order" detailing the vehicle, rentals etc. Finance documents are sent to you prior to delivery Once the completed documents have been returned, we arrange delivery to you

Q: How quickly can I get a vehicle?
A: We have a steady flow of vehicles on order in the Fiesta / Corsa range, so we should be able to offer short delivery times. Should you want to factory order a car to your exact specification then we are able to offer a "pre contract" vehicle for the interim period.

Q: Where do I collect the vehicle from?
A: All of our long term contract vehicles (12/18 or 24 months) are delivered and collected from anywhere in mainland UK Free of charge. We will not penalise you by not offering Free collection because you have not renewed your contract with us.

Q: What is covered on the maintenance contract?
A: All mechanical repairs and services are included in the monthly rental Free replacement vehicle if your car is off the road for more than 48 hours due to mechanical failure Breakdown home start and recovery is also included.

Q: How do I book the vehicle in for a service?
A: Call our "Customer care team" on 0845 070 1787 and they will arrange this all for you.
We have servicing facilities in nearly every town in mainland UK.
Also warranty issues can also be resolved by calling the same number and they will arrange this with the local main dealer.
Windscreen repairs can also be booked via the Customer care team

Q: Are my tyres covered under the maintenance agreement?
A: On a Standard contract they are not covered, however you can upgrade to "Gold cover"
This will give you "No quibble" tyre policy rather than the "Fair wear and Tear" tyre replacement offered by the majority of the industry.
Gold cover usually costs an additional £6 per week.

Q: What happens at the end of the contract?
A: You have the following options
1: Take a new vehicle
2: You can purchase your current car at current market value
3: Obtain a quote to remain in your current car at a reduced monthly rental.

Q: Do I have to insure the vehicle?
A: Yes you have to insure the vehicle on a Fully Comprehensive Policy We are able to obtain quotations for you if required. The vehicle can also be used for Private use by yourself or anyone else you have insured on the car

Q: What happens if the vehicle is involved in an Accident?
A: Total Fleet offer a "Free of charge" Accident management service. "Non Fault" accidents mean that you will qualify for a "Free" like for like vehicle "Fault" accidents mean that you are able to have a vehicle from our Daily rental fleet at a reduced cost to the normal Daily rental terms. Our Customer care team will manage the Accident for you, so you will not have to bother dealing with Insurance companies etc, it will all be done via ourselves. Therefore leaving you to do your job and earn money
